The Welcome to the United States guidebook provides valuable information to help refugees prepare for the first few months in the United States. This widely-used resource has been updated to feature currently arriving refugee populations, including relevant case studies and additional testimonials from refugees and service providers. In addition, this edition also includes many worksheets and activities designed to provide an interactive way of learning about resettlement in the United States.

The Welcome guide addresses a variety of topics including resettlement issues, the United States and American culture, housing, transportation, health care, cultural adjustment and changing roles, employment, learning English, education, and more.
