The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) offers resources and technical assistance for supporting dual language (DL) program planning, instruction, and assessment. In this session, learn about CAL’s Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education and how the Principles are used to provide consultation and professional development to develop or enhance DL programs. Participants will learn about CAL’s approach to working with schools, including the use of research-aligned strategies, hands-on activities, reflective practices, needs assessments, and coaching.
