An expert editor and experienced publications manager, Jeannie Rennie works with program staff across CAL to develop high quality publications and materials. Since 2004, she has managed CAL’s publications and editorial services.
Prior to that time, she managed one of CAL’s largest projects for 18 years, serving as associate director of the ERIC Clearinghouse on Languages and Linguistics. She also served for 2 years as associate director of the National Center for ESL Literacy Education at CAL. Concurrently with her management positions, Ms. Rennie served as editor for four series of research and educational practice reports published under the auspices of two large research projects at CAL: the Center for Research on Education, Diversity, and Excellence; and the National Center for Research on Cultural Diversity and Second Language Learning.
Ms. Rennie is proficient in French. She holds a master’s degree in French from Middlebury College and a bachelor’s degree in French from Michigan State University.
