The ACCESS 2.0 Speaking Test marks a change from a face-to-face to a computer-administered test format. This new format allows students to demonstrate their academic speaking proficiency on a series of tasks that reflect classroom language use. In this session, presenters will discuss the research and rationale behind the design of the computerized speaking test, show sample test materials, and discuss implications for classroom teaching.
